Chromecast

Cast to a device

1. Go to MENU > Chromecast... and select your device.
2. Confirm Chromecast mode appears in the top panel, then use playback controls as normal.
3. To stop casting, return to MENU > Chromecast... and select End cast.

Note

If you turned on your Chromecast after starting Tauon and it doesn’t appear, restart Tauon.

Tip

If you have a firewall on the same PC, allow incoming as well as outgoing connections for Tauon.

Limitations

• Doesn’t work with PLEX, Airsonic, Jellyfin, or Spotify.
• Doesn’t work with some codecs (transcoding isn’t implemented). Common codecs like MP3, FLAC, and OGG should work.
