Cast to a device

Section titled “Cast to a device”
  1. Open the main menu and choose Chromecast…, then Cast to: your device.
  2. Use the playback controls as normal. “Chromecast Mode” appears under the activity indicator at the top right while you’re casting.
  3. To stop, open Chromecast… again and choose End Cast.

Tauon converts audio formats that Chromecast can’t play, such as high-resolution FLAC or tracks in CUE sheets, so most music casts without any setup. Tracks from network servers like Jellyfin also work, as long as the Chromecast can reach the server.

Playback speed can’t be changed while casting.
